As a Kolmac Therapist, you’ll play a key role in guiding patients through recovery and growth. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our innovative outpatient, IOP, and OTP settings.
Key responsibilities include:
Building authentic, person-centered therapeutic alliances with your patients
Leading engaging group and individual psychotherapy sessions
Creating dynamic mental health education presentations
Engage in case management responsbilities including assessments, collaborative treatment plans, discharge planning and managing partnerships with referral sources and other providers
Collaborating with medical, clinical, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional, wraparound care
Maintaining timely and thorough documentation (24-48 hour turnaround)
Participating in crisis support through a shared on-call rotation
Contributing to clinical excellence through outcome-driven care, family support, and treatment team collaboration
A heart for healing and a head for strategy. You balance empathy with accountability and clinical strength.
2+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment
Working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care — EMDR experience is a major plus!
Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
A desire to grow, contribute, and be part of something bigger than yourself
Licensure in one of the following:
MD: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LGADC, LGMFT, LGPAT
If you are personally in recovery, a minimum of three years continuous sobriety is required, five years preferred.
