Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

As our Lead Mental Health Therapist, you’ll serve as both clinician and creator — guiding patients through their healing journey while helping us lay the foundation for a scalable, impactful mental health program. You’ll have the support of our experienced leadership team and the freedom to build something meaningful.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the clinical lead for our pilot mental health program in Columbia, MD, working in-person Monday – Friday, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Deliver individual and group psychotherapy with a focus on evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with medical, clinical, and administrative teams to shape and refine service delivery
  • Help establish and refine clinical workflows, outcome measures, and program structure
  • Participate in supervision, case management, and care coordination with internal and external partners
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation (24–48 hour turnaround)
  • Be a thought partner in helping scale this new model across Kolmac

Compensation for this role starts at $50/hour, with the final rate determined based on licensure, experience, education, and other relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • A heart for healing and a head for strategy. You balance empathy with accountability and clinical strength.

  • Minimum of 2 years mental health experience working in clinical direct patient care

  • A master's degree in a related field of study to our work
  • Working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care — EMDR experience is a major plus!

  • Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)

  • A desire to grow, contribute, and be part of something bigger than yourself

  • Licensure is one of the following: LCSW, LPC

If you are personally in recovery, a minimum of three years continuous sobriety is required, five years preferred.
